Adult Training Network works in collaboration with Merton Council to deliver a range of programmes which include Functional Skills English, ESOL, Digital Skills and Embedded Numeracy to support residents into work, gain a qualification in basic skills, progress into further learning and offer support with career progression and self-sufficiency..
Courses are at a variety of levels (Entry 1 - Level 2) for accredited programmes and Pre Entry ESOL / FS English and Digital Skills for non accredited tailored learning for the needs of the individual learner. Learners who join the programmes have a wide range of learning needs including returning to work after a period of unemployment, seeking a new role after a period of redundancy or upskilling to progress onto further learning.
Whatever the needs of the learner, ATN will offer support and guidance to develop their confidence and learning needs to progress further.
Currently, ATN is conducting face to face learning programmes. All the Covid 19 protocols for safeguarding learners, tutors and users are being followed to ensure that all users are not at risk of contracting Covid 19.
ATN is conducting courses at two venues in Merton: Mitcham Library and South Mitcham Community Association, which enables learners to easily commute to the locations.
